The Defiance City Schools have approved three new administrators, in board action Wednesday.The new high school principal is Jay Jerger, replacing Bob Morton who will move to the superintendent’s position this summer.The new assistant principal at the high school is Joe Pennington.And taking over as Defiance Middle School principal is Matt Carr.
The Defiance School Board also rejected bids to demolish their 1918 school building on Arabella Street, and will be negotiating with the city of Defiance to acquire the property.
