The mother of a young child in Putnam County has been charged in the death of the toddler.The Putnam County Sheriff’s office reports they were called to a residence in Ft. Jennings on November 7th of last year, regarding an unresponsive child.That little boy was then transported to the Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, where he died that day.The subsequent investigation into the child’s death has led to the arrest of his mother, 25 year old Jessica McClure, now living in Lima.McClure has been charged with Involuntary Manslaughter, and 4 other counts of Child Endangering.Involuntary Manslaughter is a first degree felony.Jessica McClure is being held on bond of $75,000, and her children have been placed in temporary protection.
