The Wauseon School Board has accepted the retirement-resignation of Larry Brown as superintendent of the district, effective December 31st of this year.Brown has led the Wauseon district for 6 years, overseeing upgrades in technology, facility additions, and the addition of solar energy to save on electric costs.The board will be working with the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center to find a new superintendent.
The Wauseon board also accepted the resignation of food services supervisor Christy Garrett at the end of the school year.
The board hired Olivia Selgo as an intervention specialist, and LaChelle Thomas was re-assigned to Technology secretary.
