NW STATE CC TO HOST LIFELONG LEARNING EVENT ON MAY 3RD

It’s a question some retirees are concerned with- What does tomorrow hold?’.You can get some answers to that questions during the next lifelong learning event at Northwest State Community college, set for Friday, May 3rd.

The program runs from 9am till 3pm, and includes lunch.

Guests that day include Dr. Susan Brown from BGSU, professor in sociology, to talk about how marriage, divorce, and intimate partnerships are changing in the second half of our lives.Matt Garrow of Engler, Garrow and Roth, Ltd. will discuss elder care-giving challenges, and delicate issues that children sometimes have to tackle for their parents.

The impact of plastics on the environment will be covered, and another guest is Tanya Likens, a grad of Northwest State and DefianceCollege, speaking on her involvement in the ABLE program.
