Police in the village of Hicksville have made an arrest in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in the community.A male suspect from Hicksville has been taken into custody and charged with Rape, a felony of the first degree.The name of that suspect has not been released; but he is being held at the Lucas County Jail.The victim of this alleged sexual assault is a juvenile.The case remains under the investigation of Hicksville Police.
In another case, Hicksville Police arrested two subjects stemming from a custody investigation.28 year old David Brummett, and 47 year old Barbara Wells, both of Hicksville, have each been charged with Interference in Custody.The investigation stemmed from a missing juvenile complaint.Both Brummett and Wells were transported to the Northwest Ohio Regional Jail.
