HOLGATE MAN IN CUSTODY FOLLOWING TWO PURSUITS OVER WEEKEND

A Holgate man is in custody following two days of pursuits by law officer.The Henry County Sheriff’s office attempted to stop 44 year old Mark Osborne of Holgate on Industrial Drive in Napoleon at 5:45am Friday, with Osborne wanted on several felony warrants.That pursuit ended-up with Osborne fleeing on foot, and was not located.Then on Saturday night at10:13pm, DefianceCounty law officers began pursuing Osborne, and the chase led back into Napoleon on road 424.HenryCounty law officers deployed spike strips to slow his vehicle, which eventually crashed on West Washington Street.Osborne was apprehended at that point, and law officers believe he ingested some drugs.The suspect was transported to the HenryCountyHospital by Napoleon Rescue, and eventually at 5:30am Sunday, Mark Osborne was booked-into the northwest Ohio regional jail on multiple warrants.
