GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY HELD FOR NEW SCHOOL IN NORTHEASTERN DISTRICT

A ground-breaking ceremony was held this past Friday to signal the start of the construction project for a new middle-school high-school for NortheasternLocalSchool District.Superintendent Jim Roach delivered a power-point presentation on what the district residents can expect in their new facility.Other speakers included senior class president Hannah Horn, Kraig Beilharz from the architects involved in the project, and state representative Craig Riedel.

The funding for this new school was approved by voters in November 2017, with 64% passage on the bond issue.The new building will include two separate wings for high school and middle school.The current building at TinoraSchool was constructed about 55 years ago.
