The Defiance City Schools have reached a tentative agreement with their next superintendent, Bob Morton.The board of education is expected to ratify that contract tonight, when they gather this evening.Morton has been high school principal for 12 years at Defiance, and would take over superintendent duties on August 1st, if approved tonight.Mike Struble will retire as superintendent of Defiance City Schools on July 31st.
Bob Morton is a native of Hilliard, in the Columbus area; and earned his education degree at BGSU.He had teaching stops at Lakota, Ft.Wayne, and Edon before coming to Defiance.
