The Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation has announced a 20% reduction in the average premium rate for employers will be implemented this year.This reduction is the largest being offered to companies in 60 years.It’s anticipated this reduction will save employers more than 200-million dollars in the next year.
Safer workplaces are resulting in fewer and less costly workplace injury claims.The number of claims in Ohio has fallen 18% over the past decade.The reduction from the Bureau of Workers Compensation will take effect July 1st.
