CRA APPLICATION FOR STOP & GO IN NAPOLEON

An application has been filed in the city of Napoleon, seeking tax abatement for the Stop & Go Retail development off Scott Street.  The app is for a  CRA agreement in the 2.1 million dollar project investment.  The development would generate up to $450,000 in annual payroll, with anticipation of 10 to 12 employees, plus additional staff at the coffee shop proposed for that location.            Environmental testing and cleanup was required at the site, and construction is anticipated to get underway by this spring.  A 7,000 square foot building is proposed at the site in Napoleon.   More discussion on the CRA agreement application is likely at the Napoleon Council session on Monday.

And on Trail Drive in Napoleon, an extension of that street was approved for a new residential development.   Another 24-unit apartment complex will be going-up adjacent to the current apartment housing.
