ANNEXATION APPROVED IN FULTON COUNTY FOR DELTA CO.

There’s a lot going-on on the west side of Delta these days.   Construction is underway for the raw waterline to Nature Fresh, to enhance the watering system at the greenhouse operation.

And the Fulton County Commissioners approved the annexation of 39 acres of land into the village of Delta.  The property is owned by Metal-X Corporation, a scrap metal processor that is gearing-up for production at their current site at the northeast corner of the intersection of Airport Highway and route 109.  They are now taking-in scrap metal and will be selling to North Star Blue-Scope Steel, and other industries.  They will likely have 75 to 100 employees at full production, with their home-base in Waterloo, Indiana.    The new parcel that was annexed into Delta is for any future development, and located just north of Nature Fresh Greenhouse operation.
