Hundreds of teens will converge on Northwest State Community College on Friday for the 7th annual Manufacturing Day. It all started in 2012, and now over 40 local manufacturing companies are set to exhibit and take part. Close to 400 students from middle school to high school will attend the event, with displays set-up in the school atrium. Some of the region’s tier-1 and tier-2 auto suppliers will be set-up outside, with representatives from GM, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, and Peterbilt.
Some of the companies inside will showcase products they make, company benefits, and hiring potential. The Manufacuring Day at Northwest State Community College runs from 9am till 1:30pm this Friday.
