It’s a milestone year for a community project that helps children and adults around Henry County. Christ United Methodist Church in Napoleon is kicking-off their ‘Coats for kids’ campaign in a couple of weeks, and they encourage you to check your closets. They are looking for good used winter coats, scarves, hats, gloves and mittens. They will be collecting these items the weekend of October 26th and 27th at their church on Glenwood Avenue in Napoleon. A trailer will be set-up at the church marked ‘coats for kids’. Don’t worry about washing the coats, members of the church tackle that chore. The biggest need is always children’s coats, and plus sizes are always in demand. Distribution of those coats is scheduled for November 10th at Christ United Methodist Church.
