Four companies submitted bids to snag the contract for demolition of the Countryview Haven facility in Henry County. Commissioners opened bids Thursday, and those proposals ranged from a low of $56,000, to a high of nearly $400,000. The board and consultants are reviewing those bids before they finalize a contract next week.
Henry County auditor Kevin Garringer reports one of the Grelton waterline assessments will be wrapping-up in October.
And Laura Hetrick has been hired as the new clerk for Henry County solid waste at the landfill.
