Only one bid was submitted for the major renovations planned for the historic Fulton County Courthouse in Wauseon. Fulton County Commissioners opened bids for the project, estimated at 3.8 million dollars. The lone proposal was from Mosser Construction of Fremont, and it just happens to be 3.8 million dollars. In fact, their bid was within $600 of the estimate. Commissioners are reviewing the bid, and likely would make the award next Tuesday, if everything checks-out. The renovation would include replacement of heating and cooling systems in the 1872 structure, along with addition of technology and security, and ADA elevators.
