The Putnam County Sheriff’s office was called to the scene of an ATV crash Monday evening. The accident occurred on state route 189, sending Kalida Rescue and EMS to the scene. At about 7:20pm, John H. Fisher of Columbus Grove was westbound on his ATV, and swerved to miss an animal. Fisher was ejected from the all-terrain vehicle, and suffered serious injuries. John Fisher was transported by Life Flight to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. He is listed in critical condition.
