There were reports of a fire at the Knight’s Inn this morning located just north of the bypass in Napoleon. It’s believed the blaze ignited in a room at the hotel, with Napoleon Fire Department dispatched to the scene. Damage was contained to that hotel room, but the cause of the blaze is unknown. The state fire marshall’s office is investigating. Ridgeville Township provided mutual aid, and Napoleon Police assisted at the scene.
