A two vehicle collision in the village of McClure has taken the life of a Michigan man. The Henry County Sheriff’s office was called near the intersection of U.S. 6 and state route 65 at 1:55pm Wednesday. 53 year old Patrick Spriggs of Detroit was westbound on route 6, and attempted a left turn into a business driveway. His auto was struck by an eastbound dump truck. Patrick Spriggs suffered critical injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. Assisting at the scene were Life Flight, along with rescue units from McClure and Malinta.
