PATROL RECAPS JULY 4TH TRAFFIC CRASHES

The highway patrol reports 8 people were killed in traffic crashes around the Buckeye State over the two-day July 4th holiday period.  Troopers also made 296 arrests for impaired driving, while another 276 persons were hit with drug citations.                          During the entire weekend and leading into the fourth of July there were 21 persons killed on Ohio roadways.  There were 8 OVI-related crashes over that span.                  If you see an impaired driver on the road, or suspect drug activity, call the highway patrol at #677.
