NAPOLEON RESCUE SQUAD INVOLVED IN CRASH, INJURIES

The Henry County Sheriff’s office started their morning investigating a collision involving a couple of vehicles, including a Napoleon city rescue squad.  The crash took place on road P-3 east of Napoleon around 4:30am, and has resulted in multiple injuries.  Napoleon Rescue was reportedly responding on a rescue run at road P-3 and county road 12, involving a subject lying along the side of the road.  As they were pulling away, another Napoleon Fire Department vehicle approached the scene, and collided with the rescue squad.  Three persons were injured including 24 year old Stephanie Weirauch of Napoleon, the unknown subject in the rescue squad, and 35 year old Robert Marciniak of Rossford.  All three victims were transported to the Henry County Hospital by rescue units from Holgate and Damascus Township.
