A home grown product has been leading Northwest State Community College for the past ten years; but turns over the reins as president of the campus this week. Dr. Tom Stuckey graduated from Hilltop High School, and has spent more than 3 decades in teaching and administrative roles at Northwest State. He has seen plenty of changes in delivery of education; but the heart of enriching local residents for new career paths has always been there. Dr. Stuckey says its been an amazing experience to lead a campus like Northwest State Community College that educates teens in the college credit plus program through high schools, and yet provides training and education for grandpas and grandmas as well.
