The Putnam County Fair hosted their 4-h coronation ceremony this week. Selected as 4-h queen for 2018 is Megan Schulte (shull-tee) of Kalida. And this year’s king is Reese Mangas of Leipsic. Both will be seniors at their respective high schools this fall.
Megan is involved in soccer, cheerleading, and is a 4-h camp counselor. Reese Mangas is a three sport athletic at Leipsic, in football, basketball and baseball, besides being a member of student council.
The Putnam County 4-h program is now taking bids in their silent auction at the fairgrounds, one of their major fund-raisers of the year.
