It will be a busy summer for interviews at Napoleon Area Schools, with openings to fill in 4 key positions in the district. Napoleon schools are eliminating the Dean of Students position at the high school, and the assistant principal’s duties for the athletic director. That will result in Napoleon School’s needing to fill two assistant principal positions covering the high school and middle school, since Dan Curtis left for a new position with Evergreen Schools. Ryan Wilde (wild) will remain principal over the high school and middle school. Napoleon is also taking applications for a new athletic director, and boys basketball coach at this time. They will also need to fill slots on the boys basketball staff, when a varsity head coach is hired.
The paving project at the Napoleon school bus lot will be getting underway after July 1st; but the first phase of installing new lighting is taking place now. The next meeting for the Napoleon school board of education is June 27th, and there could be some personnel action at that session.
