FREE SYMPHONY CONCERTS AT TOLEDO ZOO THIS SUMMER

There’s nothing like music under the stars.   And that’s what the Toledo Zoo is featuring with their free concert series this summer, featuring the Toledo Symphony Orchestra.                The concerts are held in the historic zoo ampitheater on Sundays at 7:30.         The first concert will by July 8th, entitled ‘Stars, Stripes, and Sousa’.

The July 15th concert will highlight Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars- the music of John Williams.

July 22nd at the Toledo Zoo will focus on Christmas in July, with holiday songs performed by the Toledo Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

          And the wrap-up concert will be July 29th, featuring the Big Band Sound of the Jazz Orchestra.               Concessions will be available, and zoo parking rates and policies apply; but the concert is free, with doors opening at 6:30pm at the ampitheater.
