The downtown street rebuild in Napoleon isn’t the only project on the docket for this year. Napoleon Council reviewed plans for the second phase of Park Street improvements. Those won’t begin until after July, due to grant dollars involved in the payment. But it could be 2019 before crews get to the actual construction. Another project on the docket is replacement of the Williams sewer pump station which serves Glenwood Estates. It’s about 40 years old, and has a price-tag of nearly 1.5 million dollars. Due to a lack of engineering services, street resurfacing projects in Napoleon have been put on-hold for now. Once consultants are found, planning will focus on resurfacing of Becklee, Bonaparte, Ken James Court, and Trail Drive. Next year’s big street project will be on Haley Avenue.
