A barricaded subject inside a home in Napoleon ended-up with a peaceful resolution, although shots were fired in the incident. Napoleon Police were alerted around 10:45pm Sunday, concerning the welfare of a male subject from the city. At 4am this (Mon.) morning, officers received word that the subject might be in his home in the 600 block of Leonard Street. The male subject would not correspond with police and was barricaded in the home, with suspicion of a weapon inside. Negotiating teams were summoned from Napoleon, Wauseon, Fayette and Wood County; with gunshots fired inside the home. But the negotiations continued, with the help of family members at the scene. Finally, just before 3pm, the 27 year old male subject gave himself up. No injuries were reported, and the male in question was transported to the Henry County Hospital for evaluation. The matter is still under investigation by Napoleon Police.
