The Ohio Board of Pharmacy has awarded licenses to 56 dispensaries around the Buckeye State that will be allowed to fill prescriptions for medical marijuana. There were close to 375 applicants for these dispensaries; and several are located in northwest Ohio. They include 127 OH, LLC in Maumee; GTI Ohio, LLC in Toledo; Glass City Alternatives in Bowling Green, along with Cannamed Therapeutics of Fremont, and The Forest in Sandusky. Another site is in Wapakoneta. A prescription from a physician is required to obtain medical marijuana.
