Defiance Police have released more information concerning a drowning incident that occurred in the 200 block of Harding Street in that city last Thursday. The coroner’s office reports 2 year old Kaycee Spencer of Defiance died due to accidental drowning in the family swimming pool. She was found unresponsive at the home on the evening of May 10th. The child was transported to Defiance Regional Medical Center, and was pronounced dead by the medical staff at the hospital.
