RURAL PAULDING MAN CHARGED IN SHOOTING OF GRANDSON

A rural Paulding man is in custody following a shooting incident that took the life of his grandson.   Paulding County Sheriff Jason Landers reports deputies were dispatched to a home along county road 1037 Thursday night at 9:38pm.  Investigators determined 73 year old William R. Miller, II of rural Paulding had apparently shot his grandson, 19 year old Evan Andrew Holcombe in the chest.  Holcombe was found dead at the scene, and William Miller was taken into custody, charged with Murder.   Miller and his grandson both lived at that residence.                      William Miller is scheduled for an arraignment in Paulding County Court on Monday.
