The final session of the free GED preparation classes in Defiance starts Monday, May 7th. It’s offered through the Four County Career Center ‘Aspire’ program. High School Equivalency or GED prep classes are designed for adults looking to hone their skills in reading, math and language arts. The Defiance session will start with a mandatory two-day orientation on May 7th and 9th. Students may attend morning or afternoon classes on Mondays and Wednesdays for an 8-week session. The Aspire program also assists adults looking to enter a skills training program, enter college, obtain a job, or retain a current job. Classes are free and materials are furnished.
