Last October across America, more than 456 tons of un-wanted and outdated prescription medication was collected during the national drug ‘take back’ day. This Saturday, local law enforcement will be participating in another ‘take back’ event; and encourage anyone with outdated drugs to turn them in. No liquid medication, syringes, lotions, or illegal drugs will be accepted. The Henry County Sheriff’s office and Napoleon Police Department will collect drugs from 10am till 2pm this Saturday. Pills should be disposed of in plastic bags; and this service is free and anonymous
Other collection sites for the Drug Take-back day include:
Archbold Police Department, Williams County Sheriff’s office in Bryan, Defiance County Sheriff’s office and the MAN unit, Delta Police Department, Putnam County Sheriff’s office in Ottawa, Paulding County Sheriff’s office, and three locations in Wauseon: Fulton County Sheriff’s office, Walmart, and Wauseon Police.
Again the drug take-back day is this Saturday from 10am till 2pm.
