When you need health care, you want it to be the best it can be. That’s why Northwest State Community College is training their nursing candidates in a well rounded program that gets them ready for a career in medicine. In the most recent class of nursing grads to go through the program at NW State, 100% of the students passed the national licensure exam. That’s an amazing accomplishment for the campus, and the nursing program, especially with the rigorous testing procedure facing graduates. NW State is being contacted even before the students graduate, seeking the top candidates for positions in the region. According to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics, the mean annual wage for a registered nurse is over $73,500, while a licensed practical nurse is averaging over $45,000 a year.
