LIFELONG LEARNING EVENT AT NW STATE ON APRIL 20

The Lifelong Learning Center at Northwest State Community College has another terrific opportunity for local residents 55 and over.   The segment is called ‘thieves in the neighborhood’; and its about the shady lending practices that entice residents into easily accessible, high interest loans.  The event will be held Friday, April 20th at Northwest State; but the sign-up deadline for the program is this Monday, April 16th.  Registration and coffee get the day started at 8:30am, with the session getting underway at 9am.              There will be stories from victims, and those that work with residents most targeted by this predatory lending.             You can call the campus to reserve a slot at 267-1312 during regular school hours.                 If you want to be on the list for future lifelong learning opportunities, from seminars to educational bus trips contact Cecily Rohrs at crohrs@northweststate.edu
