WILLIAMS COUNTY APPROVES TAX ABATE., MENARDS EXPAN

A company with a huge footprint in northwest Ohio will be growing some more.   The Williams County Commissioners have approved a tax abatement agreement for Menards in Holiday City, with plans for a 15 to 16 million dollar investment in new construction, machinery, and equipment.   The company want to add a bagging plant for sales of sand, concrete, and other items.  This expansion will add about 30 full time employees to the current staff of close to 1,000.                The tax abatement agreement will be for 15 years at 100%; but will include payments to the North Central and Four County school districts.                          The rail and turnpike access at Holiday City makes this location a prime spot for Menards, and other companies looking to expand.
