FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING IN NAPOLEON

The city of Napoleon will be conducting their spring fire hydrant flushing program over the next few weeks.   This could result in dis-coloration of the water in neighborhoods where flushing is going on.    Crews will start on the north side of the river near the water treatment plant, and work their way to the outer edges of the system.  Flushing in downtown Napoleon, and along North Scott Street, Becklee Drive and Bonaparte Drive will take place on April 20th between midnight at 8am.

This fire hydrant flushing is important in Napoleon to insure the hydrants are working, to verify flow and location of the hydrants, and to pull fresh water through the system.   Flushing will begin each day at 7:30am.
