NAPOLEON FINANCE COMMITTEE-SEEKING APPLICANTS

The Napoleon Council ‘finance and budget’ meeting Monday night included three landlords that attended the session.  Those landlords are required to report potential income tax filers residing in their facilities, to help the city keep track of wage earners in Napoleon.                     Council also reminds city residents that some employers do not take-out the income tax automatically, so they may have to do it themselves.

The city of Napoleon is also looking to fill some vacancies on their staff.  Morgan Druhot has resigned as human resource director, and applications are due April 9th for that position.              With the retirement of Napoleon’s IT director some time back, the city has been utilizing an interim in that position.   And there is also a vacant slot in the engineering department for a licensed engineer.   Both those openings have application deadlines on April 13th.    Napoleon has struggled to attract candidates for either of those two positions.
