HENRY COMMISSIONERS APPROVE LOAN FOR SR. CENTER

The Henry County Commissioners have signed documents to take out a loan for nearly 1.6 million dollars to pay for construction of the new senior center.  The loan is at 3% interest, with payback expected in 2021.   There are still about $300,000 in pledges coming-in for the project.

Commissioners approved a plat for a new subdivision going-in just west of Texas along Henry County road 424.  The 12-lot residential development is adjacent to the Maumee River.    A re-plat for several lots was also approved at roads 7 and W in Washington Township.

Henry County Commissioners approved a revolving loan fund agreement not to exceed $100,000 to help tear-down 8 more blighted homes in the county.

And a number of executive sessions were held Tuesday, including one for complaints against a public employee; but no action was taken.
