The highway patrol investigated a two-vehicle injury crash Saturday afternoon at 3:50pm near Sherwood. The accident took place at the intersection of state route 18 and Bend Road, with 54 year old Kerry Samples of Defiance suffering serious injuries. Samples was transported by air ambulance to Pro Medica Hospital in Ft. Wayne. Also injured was 31 year old Shea Willard of North Carolina, who was taken to a Defiance Hospital.
