AFFILIATE OF KELLER LOGISTICS TO OPEN NEW PLANT

An affiliate of the Keller Logistics Group is set to open a 10-million dollar pasteurization plant in Delphos next month.  Hydrofresh HPP will introduce their innovative high-pressure processing technology on Gressel Drive in Delphos.           Unlike the traditional pasteurization method which uses heat prior to packaging to eliminate micro bacteria that is present in food, Hydrofresh HPP will use a natural, cold pasteurization technique where products already sealed in their final packaging are placed in a vessel and subjected to a high level of isostatic water pressure.   This process reduces salmonella, e coli, and listeria.             They will hire about a dozen employees at the outset; but will grow to a staff of about 55.
