The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated a two vehicle crash in Ridgeville Township Sunday at 1pm, at the intersection of road X and road 19.  18 year old Brandon Rodriguez of Carey failed to stop at the posted sign, colliding with an eastbound auto driven by 21 year old Makenzie Mann of Wauseon.  One of the vehicles ended-up striking a residence at that intersection, owned by the Dickmander family, and causing damage.  Makenzie Mann was transported to the Fulton County Health Center by Archbold Rescue.  Brandon Rodriguez was taken to the Fulton County Health Center by Napoleon Rescue, and a passenger, 19 year old Brady Rodriguez of Carey was transported to the Fulton County Health Center by Ridgeville Rescue.

The Henry County Sheriff’s office is investigating a theft that occurred at a residence along state route 18 in Bartlow Township Saturday over the noon hour.  Some cash was stolen from the home.

And the Liberty Center fire department was dispatched to a structure fire around 5:45am Sunday on road S, adjacent to U.S. 24.  When crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames, and mutual aid was provided by Napoleon, Delta, Grand Rapids and Providence fire departments.   The house was unoccupied, and was being remodeled by the owner, Kyle Perry of Perrysburg.  The structure was a total loss; but the cause of the blaze is undetermined.  There were no injuries reported, and crews were on the scene for over three hours.
