INJURY CRASH IN HENRY COUNTY MONDAY

Two vehicles ended-up in a field following a Monday afternoon collision in Henry County.  The sheriff’s office was called to the scene at 3:14pm yesterday at state route 18 and county road 10-A.  Both drivers were injured, including 26 year old Hilary Hertzfeld of rural Hamler, and 23 year old Diamond Moore of Defiance.  Hertzfeld was transported to the Henry County Hospital by the South Joint Ambulance District, while Diamond Moore was taken to Defiance Mercy Hospital by Holgate EMS.

The Henry County Sheriff’s office located a disabled vehicle along road 424 just before 9pm last night.  28 year old Brian Brooks of Wauseon was arrested and cited for Driving under Suspension.  It was also discovered that Brooks was wanted on a warrant from Wood County, and was turned over to their law officers.

And just after 6am this morning, the Deshler fire department was dispatched for mutual aid, when a structure fire was discovered along Custar road in Wood County.
