If you missed-out on a high school diploma, there’s still opportunities to catch up. The Four County Career Center is offering Adult Basic Education Courses in the Aspire program, with locations in Defiance, Wauseon and Bryan. The courses include the high school equivalency, formerly known as the GED. Through the Aspire program, adults practice skills that will allow them to transition to their next chapter in life.
Topics include reading, match, and language. The classes are free, and materials are furnished. All participants are asked to complete a two-day orientation and testing prior to starting class. The next orientation is slated for February 28th and March 1st in Wauseon; while the Defiance orientation will be held March 5th and 7th.
