Back in the summer of 2015, Fulton County hosted their initial ‘breakfast on the farm’ event, attracting thousands to a dairy farm in rural Delta. For over 60% of the attendees, it was their first trip to a dairy farm, while others hadn’t seen one in over 20 years.
Fulton County is hoping to host another ‘breakfast on the farm’ next summer 2019. They are seeking interested sites to host this event, and be a part of the planning process. If you would like to open your doors to let the public get an up-close look at farm production, contact OSU Extension in Fulton County by May 1st of this year. You can also help set the date for the breakfast next summer.
