The wrap-up of the 2017 United Way campaign in Henry County was a huge success, with contributions totaling $474,206. That’s more than $24,000 above the goal set for the campaign, and means there will be sufficient funds for 36 health and human service agencies to provide programs for Henry County residents. Leading the way was the Corporate and Major Gifts Division hitting 111% of their goal. Another big lift would come from the residential campaign, hitting 109% of their goal. And the employees of the Campbell Soup Company combined to donate nearly $128,000 to this year’s United Way campaign.
