A hike in water rates was approved by the Fulton County Commissioners that will affect customers of the Northeast Water System in Amboy, Royalton, and Fulton Townships. The rate increase will be $2 per month, and will go into effect March 1st, but residents will see the adjustment in their bills for May. This water rate increase will impact about 475 customers. The water for that system comes from the city of Toledo.
And the Fulton County Commissioners are seeking bids to replace a bridge on road 21 near the Henry County line. Those proposals are due February 27th.
