Tuesday just before 6pm, 19 year old Benjamin Zimmerman of rural Defiance was operating a snowmobile in a field near road 18 in Freedom Township. The unit struck a ditch, and Zimmerman and a passenger were ejected. The passenger, 18 year old Giulia Lee of Archbold suffered serious injuries; and was transported to the Fulton County Health Center by Ridgeville Rescue. She was then transferred by Life Flight to a Toledo Hospital. The Henry County Sheriff's office investigated.
