HENRY COUNTY AND NAPOLEON AGREE ON PUBLIC DEFEND.

posted by Defiance -

The city of Napoleon and Henry County have come together for another agreement on paying fees for public defenders that represent indigent clients in court proceedings.   The contract calls for Henry County to pay when there are violations of the Ohio Revised Code.  And Napoleon will pay the public defender fees when there are violations of municipal codes.   The Henry County Commissioners approved that agreement, and reviewed the first month numbers from the landfill.   Tonnage received at the Henry County landfill in January fell 26% from the year before.   And there were over 44 tons of tires processed for shredding.

The Henry County Commissioners have approved a notice to proceed with the Poggameyer Design Group as the consultant for Holgate’s neighborhood revitalization grant, seeking $30,000.
