The 7th president on the campus of Northwest State Community College is Dr. Michael Thompson. Thompson was selected by the Board of Trustees after a lengthy search process, and comes to NW State from Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland. His career includes stops at Northern Kentucky University, and he has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
Dr. Thompson will begin duties on April 1st, joining President Tom Stuckey for several months in the transition, with Stuckey retiring from the campus at the end of June.
