OHIO BRIDGES RATED POOR IN LATEST ANALYSIS

A new analysis of the nation’s bridges puts Ohio in the bottom quarter of states around the nation for condition of their spans.  U.S. Senator Sherrod  Brown reports this survey underscores the need for America’s investment in infrastructure.   Ohio had the 12th highest total of bridges that were structurally deficient.    Senator Brown is calling for a 75-billion dollar package of spending over the next 10 years in bridge improvements.  His legislation also calls for American steel and iron to be used in the construction.
