Residents in the village of Holgate can look for an increase in their sewer rates on all water bills. The bump is 1-dollar per month. Holgate Council learned the village was turned down in their request for a half-million dollar grant to building a new sewer lift station.
Communities around Henry County will be hearing news on some changes in the overall recycling program in the months ahead.
The village of Holgate has hired Poggameyer Design Group to help plan for a village revitalization project. And Holgate Council will be hosting public meetings in the months of February and March to gather input from residents on the revitalization plan. They will be held the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at the council chambers, beginning at 7pm.
